Coach Manna founded the Jr Mav football organization in 2005 and is the Director of Operations, General Manager and Head Coach. Coach Manna currently serves as USA FOOTBALL Nebraska Youth Football Coordinator.
USA FOOTBALL was endowed by the NFL and NFL Players
Association in 2002. USA FOOTBALL provides programs
and resources to inspire participation and improve the quality
of the sport.
Coach Manna has coached youth football for over 25 years,
including serving five years as General manager of the KWAA
Titans football organization, who, in the span of five seasons,
earned three league championships (2002, 2003 and 2005) and
league runner-up in 2004. Coach Manna is a past member of
the KWAA Football Board of Directors and is now a Board Member for the Heartland Football League.
Coach Manna first coached youth football in Clarksburg,
West Virginia, serving as an assistant coach for the Clarksburg
Panthers. The Panthers finished as league champions under
the leadership of Head Football Coach Cliff Jones and
quarterback Jimbo Fisher, who presently serves as Head Coach at Florida State University.
Coach Manna is a graduate of Seton Hall University,
South Orange, New Jersey, and earned a Master of Public
Administration from West Virginia University. His Philosophy
is to bring the community together through football, provide
youth with an opportunity to join a quality football program,
regardless of where they live, and to inspire participation of a
sound fundamental coaching staff to prepare and develop
players for the high school level.
Coach John Manna
